The NewsWorthy Podcast

Host of the 10-minute news podcast “The NewsWorthy,” Erica Mandy leverages her experience as a broadcast journalist to share daily news briefs from an intentionally varied group of sources. She aims to provide “Fast, Fair, Fun” reporting that helps listeners stay current on the news, drawing their own conclusions about what it means.

What we did:

SCALED-UP PRINT DESIGN

Most businesses are used to creating graphics for social media use, and for print materials like postcards and brochures. Billboards, on the other hand, might be unfamiliar territory. The increase in size and investment required for this marketing asset can be intimidating, or it might be outside the scope of an in-house team’s expertise.

When Erica Mandy decided she needed a billboard for her podcast, we were there to help her explore her options, editing and scaling the graphics to the precise billboard specifications. Whether a billboard is printed or digitally delivered, we are happy to supplement an in-house team for a one-off billboard project any time.

POLISH, RECONFIGURE, UPDATE

The digital world is in constant motion. Technological rollouts create opportunities for brands to get their names and services in front of new audiences in fresh ways, small tweaks on common platforms make it necessary to keep up with shifting asset creation, and new trends spark fresh branding creativity.

All of this means that it’s vital for businesses—especially podcasters—to have easy access to design experts who can freshen up existing branding as new constraints and opportunities present themselves. Erica enlisted our help in updating her podcast graphics, and we were excited to ensure they were optimized for the array of places they would eventually appear—in-app, on phone bookmarks and webpages, and more.

CROSS-PLATFORM COHESION

Telling your brand story across social media sites is vital for a comprehensive digital marketing plan. Telling your brand story the right way means ensuring that in the effort to share authentic, interesting content, you’re not accidentally undercutting your branding basics.

Creating social media templates and guidelines can be a great way to maintain your branding even in fast-moving digital spaces. Including branding colors, textures, and illustrations that contribute to your brand voice instead of distracting from it—as we did for Erica’s Instagram graphics—help elevate your social media presence and expand brand awareness.

We are humbled to be a part of amazing projects like these!
