Pink Cadillac Property

Pink Cadillac Property Management has roots that trace back generations, making knowledge of the community a natural priority in their property management style. It all started when co-owner AJ de Fabry’s grandfather sold her grandmother’s pink Cadillac to start a furniture store back in ’64. The store’s success led to success in property ownership, and the family was soon able to build up rental properties in Idaho, where today, AJ and Skip de Fabry leverage their local connections to help Boise-area landlords run properties in a way that’s best for them and the community.

What we did:

DEFINING A BRAND

Creating cohesive, sustainable digital marketing begins with clear branding and a thorough understanding of the application of that branding.

Pink Cadillac Property Management came to us with nothing but a logo, an origin story, and a one-word description of how they wanted to present themselves: “Edgy.” We developed their branding and its social media application from the ground up.

Beginning with a set of guidelines that leveraged their niche audience—landlords with investment properties in Idaho—and the different potential client personas within that niche—hands-on local landlord, hands-off local landlords, and out-of-town landlords—we developed post categories, graphic templates, and ideas for the images and copy that we now create to post each month.

Categorizing posts is vital in the effort to address each sub-niche with a customized approach, and a bonus is that it allows for an interesting visual pattern on the Instagram grid.

YOUR HOPES AND DREAMS, OUR ASSIGNMENT

As a busy business owner, you probably have a few big ideas or elements of inspiration that you can’t wait to see come alive, and very little time to make that happen yourself.

We’ll take on as much—or as little—as you’d like us to. Pink Cadillac hasn’t wanted to touch their social media creative work at all, past requesting “edgy” content and taking a look at the final product for approval. This gives us the opportunity to build creative posts that stand out, and we dive into monthly brainstorm calls and creative headspace, independently developing fun ideas that result in unique social media posts. Through our social media management system, Sked, team collaboration is prioritized throughout the process, and minimal management input is required for post approval.

OUT-OF-THE-BOX MARKETING

A business’ organic social media presence can seem like a boring customer relationship-building necessity, but there’s no reason it can’t make a real impact. Simply dedicating time to thinking about it and having fun with it—including entrusting yourself or your team with creative freedom—allows your brand’s unique, authentic voice to find an audience excited to hear it.

Exploring post categories that reflect the values of Pink Cadillac’s niche audience, we have established a social media presence that is truly a community space for the audience.
