First Service Group

First Service Group is a family-owned, Boise-local property management company that has been providing the Treasure Valley with traditional property management, real estate sales, leasing, and asset management services since 1980.

What we did:

COMMUNICATING PROFESSIONALISM & AUTHENTICITY

Especially vital in the real estate industry, building trusting relationships in the community relies on the consistent and cohesive communication of a professional, authentic brand.

As a small-scale operation, First Service Group didn’t have the resources internally to develop the quality and magnitude of branded materials they needed to keep up with their large, well-established real estate competitors. They came to TMC with a goal to enhance their brand and create refined print materials that could elevate their position in Boise’s competitive real estate market.

With this in mind, we began with a logo redesign—aiming for a modern, professional look, we used this refined logo to guide the development of a complete, cohesive visual and written brand. We then applied this brand across their digital and print spaces, implementing regular social media marketing and curating countless internal and community-facing print materials, each one templated for a streamlined process moving forward.

ESTABLISHING RELATIONSHIPS & BUILDING TRUST

First Service Group’s marketing materials were responsible for messaging that could support a dynamic of relationships in the community. They would establish FSG’s credibility among their competitors and broader community partners, as well as expand the communication gateway and build trust between First Service Group agents and their residential partners directly.

One means of developing relationships with the neighborhood was building face recognition. We regularly produced individual agent postcards that introduced the agent to their neighborhood directly, establishing a personal connection and encouraging contact.

DEVELOPING EFFECTIVE MESSAGING

In all professional communication—and especially in direct, personal communication with individual clients and families—the way a message is crafted matters. Through intentional visual branding and careful print layouts, we were able to communicate important updates; promote community resources; and lay out neighborhood rules and guidelines in engaging, digestible, and uniquely branded ways.

ILLUSTRATING THE MESSAGE

When developing materials that need to communicate with such a diverse audience, simple yet engaging visual illustration is essential. In every material we produced, we crafted helpful graphics and custom illustrations that helped to convey each respective message clearly and effectively for every audience.

STREAMLINING PRINT DESIGN

Our goal at TMC is to empower our clients in every way possible—not only through the direct provision of ready-to-use materials but through the development of resources that enable independence.

For every material we produced, we supplied First Service Group with a corresponding print-ready template. These templates not only streamlined our own production process, but they enabled the FSG team to easily and efficiently create elevated branded materials beyond our work together.
