Courtney Hong

Courtney Hong aims to empower her real estate clients with the knowledge and access they need to realize their dreams of home ownership. As a former Emergency Room Nurse and Nurse Educator, Courtney prioritizes honesty and ethics in her approach to educating and serving her real estate clients. She also gives back to the Military and First Responder community, donating to charities upon each closing, and providing buying and selling credits to active duty Military, Veterans, and First Responders.

What we did:

DESIGNING A LOGO

We know that, in building a logo from scratch, dozens of ideas come from the client and the designers. This collaborative ideation process means that even the first proofs come close to a finalized choice.

Beginning with a monogram concept, based on the expressed desire for her initials to be incorporated into the logo, these logo proofs were designed to allow Courtney Hong’s own vision to come to life.

As with most logo designs, we shared several initial mockups, making the collaborative process efficient and creatively fulfilling for all involved.

CHOOSING A LOGO

After testing various layouts and revising the logo in response to detailed feedback, a final logo was approved, ushering in a fresh brand identity.

Once a logo is finalized, it is formatted for use in multiple colorways and within various related designs.

UNDERSTANDING THE SUBTLETIES

Many times, the finalized logo is not quite the end of the design process. Subtleties including alternate versions and partnership co-branding are often vital additions.

We have worked with many real estate agents, and we know how to navigate brokerages’ required guidelines in logo selection and beyond. For Courtney, we designed specialized co-branded logo versions, which were a part of the design consideration all along.

MAKING A PRINT DEBUT

In addition to creating malleable versions of a finished logo or logos–providing various file types, orientations, pairings, and colorways–we ensure the logo can be used whenever and wherever a client needs it by providing a Pantone color swatch.

Courtney can print her new logo on open house posters, directional signage, banners, and even t-shirts without having to request a specialized version of the logo, no matter which print shop she uses.
